Hi, I’m Shay 👋 I work with the mind, body, and brain, bringing a variety of skills that allow you to work with trauma in the way you need. Whether it is EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry, Somatic therapy, neurofeedback, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, IFS, or other trauma-informed practices, we will work so you can find relief without it feeling scary or too hard.

What makes neurofeedback different from other techniques?

With Neurofeedback you aren’t engaged in talk therapy. You are working to train your brainwaves to function at their best. Whether that is to reduce hypervigilance, stress, or improve performance and sleep it is all done engaging with games, music, or your favorite thing to watch on TV.

How do I know if neurofeedback is right for me?

Shay will work with you to determine if neurofeedback is an option for you. By using both NewMind and Myndlift clients have a variety of tools to choose from.

How Long Will Neurofeedback Take?

Clients typically see best results by training 3-5 times per week, sessions last between 15-30 minutes.   Each training protocol is individually developed and progress is tracked every session.   Most users notice improvements within 2-4 weeks, but may train for several months to meet their goals.
